Although the weather forecast was not really positive on the day of our trip to York, we were quite lucky with the weather and didn’t get wet feet on our walking tour after all. After 2 hours of sightseeing, our students got a good idea of York and its medieval remnants. Later we visited York’s Chocolate Story which gave us interactive insight into the history of York’s chocolate industry and the general process of chocolate making. We tried lots of chocolate and decorated a chocolate lolly ourselves. Yummy! In their free time, some students were even brave enough to book a tour at the York Dungeon. As York is supposedly the most haunted city in Europe, we might even see a real ghost on one of our next trips to this fascinating city.
